I have HQ and MB turned off, proxy and auto proxy turned on and my proxy mode set to half.ĭespite all this I get about 5-7 FPS when caching this into RAM.ĭoes this seem normal? Using AE or Hitfilm I get near perfectly smooth playback even when caching the same comp in these programs. I am doing a fairly simple comp in Fusion, compositing a PNG sequence over some other footage with some drop shadows in etc.

My PC specs are as follows: Nvidia 1070, AMD 8 Core CPU, 32 gigs of ram and 2 1tb SSD drives.
